Tillamook
Coastal Education for Tillamook Students
With over 40 years of experience, outdoor school runs deep in the Tillamook School District. Each year, roughly 150 students attend the week-long program to spend their time outside learning about our coastline’s different ecosystems, plant identification and animal habitats. In 2018, $36,000 in Lottery dollars were allocated towards supporting the fifth and sixth graders of Tillamook East Elementary, where they can learn a little more about the science behind our beaches and forests.
