Lucky’s Lives Up to Its Name
Nicky likes to play a little Video Lottery now and then. Her husband Chris, not so much. Instead, he’s Nicky’s cheerleader as she plays. And one of Nicky’s favorite places to play is the Lucky Corner Bar N Grill near their home in Portland.
After a recent rainy spell, Nicky was ready to go out for a change of scenery, so she took a walk to Lucky’s. Although she doesn’t play Big City 5s Diamond Jackpot very often, she decided to give the game a spin. After all, it offers the biggest jackpots of all of the Oregon Lottery’s Video Lottery games.
After just a couple of spins, diamonds started filling the screen. Nicky wasn’t sure what was happening, but the bartender told her she’d just won the jackpot — in this case $14,614!!! She was still so shocked with the news that she could barely fill out the claim form when she came to the lottery’s prize fulfillment center to get her check!
Nicky isn’t sure exactly what she’ll do with her unexpected jackpot, but she and Chris have a big family, so they’ll start by doing something fun with the kids. And, just maybe, there’ll be another evening out at Lucky’s for Nicky and Chris!
