Cashing In On Trivia Night
When Emily came into Eugene from Cheshire, the most she’d hoped to win was bragging rights in bar trivia with friends. She’d come to the Starlight Lounge hoping to sweep all the categories — but ultimately, she decided to try her luck on a different kind of game. And it sure did pay off!
Sipping a Dr. Pepper (her drink of choice, as both she and the soda are from Waco, Texas), she started to play the Greatest Game in the West. This old-timey Western game with Vegas-style play was a perfect fit for this Texas-born lady and, after a few rounds with Buffalo Bill and Annie Oakley, she’d won $3,000.
And while that’s enough cash to try every flavor of Dr. Pepper at least a couple dozen times, Emily said she’ll mostly be spending the money on things for her family. Though, of course, a couple of sodas are likely to make the cut, as well.
