A Love Letter from the Lottery

One of the best things about Second Chance is how it can change your life out of the blue. One minute you’re doing your regular chores and the next, you’re looking at a very big number.

Like so many Second Chance winners, Dustin first learned about his win through the good ol’ USPS, courtesy of a certified letter in his mailbox. There, among the circulars and coupons, was the huge news: the $3 Scratch-it he’d scanned months prior had been picked. He’d won $25,000 in the Second Chance drawing!

Scratch-its are near to Dustin’s heart; he and his now-fiancée used to finish each date by playing a few. Of course, they’d enter any non-winning tickets into the Second Chance drawing with the app – and finally, it paid off!

Dustin says the surprise windfall will mostly go into savings, but it wouldn’t be shocking if the upcoming wedding is a little extra fancy.
