What happened to Scoreboard this weekend?

The Oregon Lottery uses a third-party sports betting platform from SBTech to power Scoreboard, our online sports betting app. The company brought its systems offline as a precautionary measure in response to a cyberattack — suspending play on Scoreboard and other online sportsbooks using the platform. We have no reports of unauthorized disclosure or extraction of player data or account balances.

What does this mean for me?

While you are currently unable to place bets or access your account, SBTech assures us that your account information and funds are secure. When Scoreboard comes back online you will not need to reregister, all your account settings will be intact, and you can resume wagering and/or access your account balances as usual.

When will services be resumed?

The company is currently working to bring systems back online and the Lottery is monitoring their progress. We will reopen Scoreboard when we are confident players can safely and securely access the platform.
