A Mega Modern Mega Million
jackpots that grow even faster
Nothing gets attention quite like a jackpot inching over the billion-dollar mark. Thanks to a round of small yet exciting changes and a new price, Mega Millions is about to deliver that sky-high jackpot thrill more often than ever before. At the same time, the game will be simpler (with no extra charge for the popular Multiplier Feature) and offer larger minimum prizes and improved odds. Check it out!
What’s Changing:
- Higher, faster growing jackpots, now starting at $50 million!
- The Multiplier Feature (2, 3, 4, 5 or 10x) will now be randomly assigned, and the multiplier is now included in the base ticket price—no extra charge for this popular feature!
- Jackpot odds are even better—now 1 in 290 million (down from 1 in 303 million)
- Best of all, bigger jackpots will arrive more frequently. BIG jackpots (those over $700 million) are likely to come up 9-10 times every year (versus 3-4 currently). Expect to see billion-dollar+ jackpots 4-6 times over every two-year stretch.
